Fully Boosted Formula
Jeff’s wanted a drift car for 20 years. Just as he had scooped up a deal on a low-mile, 1998 240SX and began daily driving it, he found himself planning a move across the country to chase another dream. He sold the Silvia two years later for nearly twice what he paid for it.
Thank you, Tokyo Drift.
He left his DSM behind and moved to Los Angeles to chase his CGI dreams. “Someday, when I have time and space, I’ll build a dedicated track car”, he told himself. He’d had this dream since high school.
14 years later, Jeff finally had time and space. He’d cut his teeth, started and ended his own business, and got the Talon across the country. With S14s now commanding silly prices, he found himself looking elsewhere.
A sexy Lexi
Jeff scooped up a Lexus SC400 with a hole in the transmission for $500 and sold the engine for $500, leaving him with a clean rolling shell and a whole lot of opportunity. He considered a build thread—but he wanted six people to see his work for eight seconds, he would have stayed in Maryland.
With tens of millions of views on some of the videos he’d done for others, he decided to build his 20-years-in-the-making, dedicated track car build a YouTube channel.
It’s called Fully Spooled.
