Keep your cars analog!
If I could only subscribe to one podcast, it would be Auto Off Topic. Hands down.
Much as I value Seth Godin’s Akimbo, and the odd conversations on The James Altucher Show or Dov Baron’s Leadership & Loyatly podcast; as much as I enjoy the positive vibes of Mike Gonçalves’ Mornings With Mike and the novelty of Mike Rowe’s The Way I Heard It—Auto Off Topic is my hands-down favorite.
Good friends doing good work.
A lot of the super issue conversations revolve around gearheads like us starting businesses or side hustles in one way or another—but don’t think TGP is just another start-an-online-business blog. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Build something with your friends.
Andrew Pascarella and Brad DeSantis have been friends since before they could drive. About two years ago, they started a podcast—just for fun. Every week they get together and talk about their project cars, road trips, and general gearhead shenanigans.
They’re not monetizing it. They’re not running ads. They’re just hanging out and talking about cars and life like the rest of us. And it’s something special. At least, I think so. And so they’re in the super issue for building something that stands the test of time—and opens more than a couple doors.
Aim for the roses, as they say.
Note: The audio may not reflect the correct episode number or link. Brian lost count of episodes so we had to re-number them.
